Covid-19: A Shared Threat Metamorphosing The Socio-Cultural Milieu

Every crisis, whether it is political (the 9/11 attack or the World Wars) or financial ( the 2008 recession ), leads to reshaping of society by affecting our consciousness in long-lasting ways. Ranging from how we travel, conduct our interpersonal relations, institutionalise ourselves according to the apparatus of security and surveillance, and adjust ourselves to the reconstructed socio-economic milieu. Right now, the world is facing a health crisis of a global reach (COVID-19), which has started showing its societal ramifications within a very short span of time.
